Columbus Day closures in the Treasure Valley
What’s open and closed for Columbus Day, Oct. 10:
• Schools in the Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Nampa, Melba, Middleton and Vallivue school districts are open. Kuna schools will be closed.
• Boise State University and administrative offices are open.
• City offices in Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Nampa and Kuna are open. City offices in Garden City, Eagle and Star are closed.
• County offices in Ada and Canyoncounties are closed.
• All federal offices are closed.
• All branches of the Boise Public Library, and libraries in Meridian, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Nampa and Ada Community Library are closed. Garden City Library will be open.
• All state liquors stores are open. Contract stores may be open; check with your local store.
• The holiday will not affect trash pickup by BFI in Boise, Sanitary Services in Meridian and J & M Sanitation Service in Kuna, as well as Nampa and Caldwell.
• ValleyRide city buses will maintain their regular schedules.
• The Postal Service will not deliver mail on Monday except for Express Mail.
• Most banks are closed. Some banks inside store locations may be open, check with your local branch
